Escobar's Farmhouse Inn - Your home away from home!

*ANNUAL 4th OF JULY FIREWORKS AT THE FARM*

Portsmouth celebrates Independence Day, each year, with the annual fireworks display put on by the Escobar family at their Middle Road farm on July 4th.

The show starts after dark and hundreds gather at Escobar’s Farm at 133 Middle Road to watch the show, which is both a celebration of our nation’s independence as well as an annual community gathering tradition.  Many enjoy the show because of its rural, community feel. It also is an opportunity to explore the farm.

Donations are encouraged — since the show does not receive formal town or state funding and is run entirely through donations and volunteers...and the kindness of Mr. Escobar’s heart.  There is an old metal milk can, tied to the tree out in front of Jane & Louie's house, where donations can be placed!

*Show begins around 9:30 p.m.

*Please do not enter the Farmhouse Inn property from the driveway on East Main Road or the dirt path on Middle Road.  Both of these entrances to the Inn will be blocked off.  Parking at the Inn is limited to registered guests & their families.

*Police remind residents and visitors that there will be traffic delays in the area. There will also be delays near the Mount Hope Bridge because of festivities in Bristol.

*People are asked to be courteous and consider finding a different vantage spot if Middle Road is clogged with cars. The area must remain clear for first responders and emergency vehicles.

*There are many viewing areas to see the fireworks beyond Middle Road.
