Escobar's Farmhouse Inn is owned by Jane and Louis Escobar, and run by Innkeeper Dawn. The inn is located across the street from Escobar's Highland Farm, one of Rhode Island's few remaining dairy farms. The Farm was acquired by Louis' father in 1937. The Inn has always been a dream for Jane, and she has worked diligently for several years to create a comfortable "home away from home" for her guests. Each of the four rooms are named for Louis and Jane's parents, Tony and Mary Escobar, and Walter and Katherine Rzegocki.
Our dairy farm has for many years been a Cabot
supply farm. Cabot is a co-op owned company, the co-op being comprised of the
Cabot supply farms. Although we are a relatively small supplier, we are proud
to be part of the Cabot family.
A Rhode Island co-op of 8 dairy farms banded
together about 10 years ago to create this popular Rhode Island brand - Rhody
Fresh. Louis Escobar has been the head of the co-op since it's inception. The
product line continues to expand with cream, the full line of milks and now
we serve only the very best at Escobar's, we serve only Cabot and Rhody Fresh
cream, milk, butter, cheese and greek yogurt!
